General Responsibilities
Move all products safely and efficiently utilizing forklift equipment to bins located within the facility.
. Scan and locate all finished goods, raw materials, and packaging via RF device associated with SAP Wm for future processing of all goods within the facility
.Ensure that pallets being placed into bins are processed properly to ensure traceability and processing.
. Ensure that all quality standards are being met for all products being stored according to all Novus guidelines and SOP's.
. Consolidate products and bins via RF device to ensure adequate space is available.
. Process all items which do not meet the required quality standards accordingly via RF device and store all items appropriately in accordance to all Novus SOP's and guidelines.
. Pick/Pack/Stage materials assigned to deliveries for shipping to customers.
. Perform housekeeping duties daily to ensure a safe and dust-free environment
. Perform safety equipment inspections as needed in accordance with all state and local regulations.
. Report all safety-related items for the site; utilize all PPE Gear provided and specified on all Novus SOP's and within accordance to all state and local agencies.
. Restack/break damaged pallets to be placed back into inventory.
. Any other duties as assigned by the Department.
Experience Requirements
. 5+ years of general warehouse experience, forklift experience.
. High School Diploma/GED/College.
Skills Requirements
. Able to follow safety guidelines.
. Basic knowledge of computer applications like Microsoft Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with arms or hands, climb multiple flights of stairs, crawl, crouch, kneel, write & type.
. Ability to lift and/or move items up to 55lbs frequently.
. Ability to drive, climb on and off a forklift as required.
. Ability to see, speak, hear, and smell. Must have depth perception, color vision and peripheral vision.
Other Essential Requirements
. Fluent in English
Work Environment:
This role operates in a manufacturing facility including indoor/outdoor work environments year-round. This role must be able to use personal protective equipment as required by OSHA standards. The role may work with or around machinery, powered industrial vehicles, electricity, compressed gas cylinders, high pressures, hot & cold temperatures working conditions, heights, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, some wet/slippery surfaces, vibrations and elevated noise levels. This role is frequently requires interaction with other employees as well as external clients, and consultants, as well as work alone. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. Must be able to interface with digital control systems
