Job description

Nursing faculty for BHSF undergraduate nursing education program are responsible for the preparation of pre-licensure nursing students who are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) state exam upon graduation. Nursing faculty may also teach in post-licensure RN-BSN programs. The faculty are responsible for collaborating in curriculum development, student progress and evaluation. Faculty will provide didactic lecture, skills labs, and oversee clinical rotations consistent with college of nursing objectives and curriculum. Faculty will support BHSF students through mentoring and teaching safe, compassionate, caring, and competent nurses. Faculty will play an active role in the student preparation for NCLEX examination and the transition to the RN residency program and attend RN residency committees as needed.Estimated salary range for this position is $87755.20 - $114081.76 / year depending on experience.Degrees:
  • Masters.
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support.
  • Registered Nurse.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Masters of Science in Nursing required, Doctorate preferred.
  • Education focus preferred.
  • RN Registered Nurse or APRN license required.
  • Certification in area of specialty within three (3) years of hire.
  • Must have a minimum of five years direct clinical experience in nursing.
  • Prefers minimum of one year experience in teaching didactic lecture and/or clinical/skills labs at the Associate, Baccalaureate, or Masters level.
  • Competent in MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel).
  • Ability to lead classroom instruction, organize, and set work priorities in a multi-task environment.
  • Knowledgeable of LMS platforms.
