Term and Course Dates: Term 2 Open Learning (January 6, 2027 to January 26, 2027)

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture (Live in-person on White Bear First Nations).
Course Schedule: Actual days/times; daily Monday to Thursday.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 35
Location: White Bear First Nations (approx. 1.5hrs NE of Estevan, SK)
Qualifications: PhD or MA in Indigenous Studies or equivalent with a demonstrated background in Indigenous knowledge in the local, national, and international context. Demonstrated experience [experiential knowledge] in one or more Indigenous Knowledge areas (food sovereignty, language & linguistic analyses, star knowledge, human-nonhuman animal relations, water protection, etc.). Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies preferred. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and to fostering respectful, reciprocal learning environments. They must also possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit culture as well as indigenization and the decolonization of pedagogy to uplift and support Indigenous students.
A valid driver's license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
