Job Overview

As an Associate Scientist for our Immunology team at the Sherbrooke location, you will support supports the Laboratory Scientists in preparing study deliverables, such as assay results tabulation and study reports, while respecting timelines and preserving a quality of work compliant with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Analytical Procedures (AP), and study plans.

In this role, primary responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review analytical procedures, forms, and related study documentation to ensure study quality and compliance. 
  • Coordinate the submission of documentation, data, and supporting materials for review and audit. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Charles River Laboratories to support study completion. 
  • Perform and/or review the tabulation and analysis of study results. 
  • Contribute to the preparation of study plans and study reports. 
  • Prepare or review study summaries, including MQS and MVS documentation. 
  • Partner with Scientists to compile study deliverables and ensure they are audit-ready for Quality Assurance (QA) review. 
  • Address QA findings and support the resolution of audit observations.
Key Elements

We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:

  • Minimum of a College diploma in Sciences related discipline;
  • Hands-on experience in ELISA, ligand-binding, immunogenicity (ADA), TK, and/or multiplex assay techniques.
  • Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to support study execution and deliverables. 
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and positive working relationships. 
  • Adapt efficiently to changing priorities and tight timelines in a regulated laboratory environment. 
  • Contribute to departmental performance and quality improvement initiatives. 
  • Communicate effectively in both English and French.


Role Specific Information:

  • Location: 1580 rue Ida-Métivier, Sherbrooke (Fleurimont), QC, J1E 0B5.
  • Transportation: Easily accessible using Sherbrooke’s public transit system. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station.
  • Salary: As per internal equity and salary scale
  • Annual bonus based on performance.
  • Schedule: Regular working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required periodically to meet business needs and project deadlines.
  • Permanent, full-time position requiring a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, starting upon hire.
