Job description

Duties:
  • Perform lab testing in the Core Lab, and report results according to SOP.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
  • Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.
  • Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.
  • Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.
Skills: 
  • ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary
Required Education:
  • Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology Associates degree required.
  • new graduates welcome.
Preferred Education:
  • BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology is preferred.
Schedule Notes:
  • 11p-7am; Mon-Fri, every 3rd weekend Sat/Sun, with a day off before and after the weekend they work. Rotating holidays, typically 2 or 3 per year.
