Overview

How you can make a difference

The Sr Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution of products focused on driving member engagement, personalization, and positive behavior change. This individual will help shape experiences that encourage customers to take meaningful actions related to saving, spending, investing, and financial wellness through personalized recommendations, next-best actions, and data-driven engagement strategies.

This role requires a product leader who can bridge customer needs, business objectives, and technical execution while partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, UX, Analytics, and external partners to deliver innovative consumer-facing experiences.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define and measure customer engagement and behavior change outcomes through product strategy, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Lead the development of personalized customer experiences, including recommendation systems, next-best-action capabilities, and engagement frameworks.
  • Prioritize product opportunities and roadmap investments based on member needs, business value, technical feasibility, and data insights.
  • Drive product discovery through member research, data analysis, experimentation, and stakeholder collaboration to identify and validate opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to leverage customer insights, behavioral data, and predictive models in product development.
  • Drive integration initiatives involving internal platforms, APIs, data ecosystems, and third-party technology partners.
  • Establish success metrics and monitor engagement, adoption, retention, and customer experience outcomes to continuously improve product performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior Product Managers, sharing best practices and providing career development support.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Validate concepts to ensure that the solution will solve the clients’ and member needs.
  • Create and present business cases and data to executive and cross functional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience; MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successful product delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and project team members to further the business objectives of our products and services.
  • Passionate about understanding market drivers and proactive in gathering data to validate the existing and incremental market opportunities.
  • Proven track record of delivering customer-facing products that drive engagement, adoption, retention, or measurable behavioral outcomes.
  • Product Management experience working with consumers directed benefits is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of using customer research, behavioral insights, analytics, and experimentation to identify opportunities and validate product solutions.
  • Experience delivering products involving APIs, platform integrations, data-sharing architectures, recommendation engines, or connected digital ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Infrequent travel may be required

This is a remote position.

Salary Range

$120500.00 To $157000.00 / year

Onboarding & Travel

This is a remote role, with an in-person onboarding training component. New team members must participate in Trailhead, HealthEquity’s immersive onboarding experience Trailhead is designed to foster meaningful connections, support your integration into the organization, and equip you with a strong understanding of our business. Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role. Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations.

This role may begin with a virtual, self-paced onboarding experience, followed by a mandatory onsite Trailhead session at a later date.
