Advanced CAM Technologist (Mastercam/GibbsCAM) — Metal Stamping

The mission

Own the CAM programming that powers our precision tooling and parts for metal stamping. You’ll partner across engineering, toolroom, production, and quality to shrink cycle times, lift capability, and formalize reliable, repeatable processes—on the machine and in inspection.

How you’ll contribute
  • Develop, edit, and refine CNC milling programs in Mastercam or GibbsCAM for 3–4 axis VMCs
  • Convert prints/CAD and GD&T into robust machining strategies and setup documentation
  • Create and maintain InspecVision optical inspection programs for automated verification
  • Author thorough setup/program sheets with setups, tooling, pickup points, toolpaths, and grind stock
  • Rapidly troubleshoot programming/machining issues to protect schedule and quality
  • Continuously improve processes to reduce cycle time and variation
  • Own cutting tool procurement, inventory management, and life monitoring per tooling BOMs
  • Collaborate daily with design engineers, operators, quality teams, and production leadership
  • Keep documentation accurate and current with ECNs, customer changes, and process updates
  • Model safe work practices and uphold quality standards and company policies
