Job description

Job Title: Manager Business Systems Analyst MasterBrand Cabinets is recruiting a talented and self‐motivated Manager Business Systems Analyst to assess every aspect of our daily business operations, examine existing and new systems for improvement, and lead solution delivery related to manufacturing technology and operational controls. The role includes direct management of a team of Business Systems Analysts, coaching, mentorship, and professional development to drive performance and growth. The successful candidate will collaborate across functional areas, work with manufacturing teams, Digital Technology support resources, vendor partners, and ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs while complying with corporate Digital Technology guidelines. Remote position with up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

People Management & Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Systems Analysts, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development. Allocate workload, prioritize, and plan capacity across manufacturing technology initiatives. Conduct regular one‐on‐ones, performance reviews, and goal setting aligned with company objectives. Recruit, hire, onboard analyst talent, and partner with HR on workforce planning and retention. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

Serve as escalation point for complex business and technical issues, providing guidance and decision authority. Business Analysis & Solution Delivery: Analyze complex business problems for automated system solutions, defining functional objectives, data sources, report requirements, and integration needs. Lead the definition of project scope, objectives, requirements, dependencies, and technical feasibility. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and vendor‐managed solutions.

Lead requirements gathering, workshops, use‐case writing, user‐story elaboration, process diagrams, and stakeholder analysis. Provide technical assistance in evaluating and developing cost‐effective systems and procedures that meet user needs. Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and integration developers on functional and technical requirements. Create deliverables for business analysis and functional design for application development, system integration, and data migration initiatives.

Lead digital technology manufacturing projects to advance manufacturing execution, operational control, data collection, and reporting. Partner with senior leadership on recommendations, drive implementation, and provide plant manufacturing management with information to improve operating results. Act as liaison between manufacturing operations and Digital Technology, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field; Master's preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, systems development, and implementation. Minimum 2–3 years of direct people‐management experience, including hiring, performance management, and team development. Preferred 5+ years of experience in a production manufacturing environment. Familiarity with production scheduling, quality management, work order flow, inventory management, and BOM management.

Experience in systems integration and ERP technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‐performing teams in a matrixed organization. Strong analytical mindset and working knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Lean, Agile, Waterfall). Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills for cross‐functional influence. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
