Job description

About The Role

Responsible for a specific geographic territory to promote and grow Neurocrine products by managing and developing long-term relationships with physicians and other customers, representing Neurocrine brands and approved indications, and educating external customers (e.g., physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers) on product benefits.

Your Contributions
  • Sales & Market Development: Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management; execute territory sales strategies (in-person and virtual) to meet/exceed objectives; identify/address territory opportunities and barriers; manage promotional resources and budget.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build/maintain relationships with healthcare providers (Psychiatrists, Neurologists, NPs, PAs), clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, PharmDs), key opinion leaders/advocacy groups, community mental health clinics and long-term care facilities, and local/regional payers and pharmacies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications.
  • Professional Standards: Uphold ethical standards, including FDA guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Work Expectations: Full field presence Monday–Friday; flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends; other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • BS/BA (science/related) + 4+ years commercial pharma/biotech (3+ years specialty pharma or LTC/psychology/neurology sales highly desired); close-door/specialty pharmacy distribution strongly preferred; psychiatry/neurology/antipsychotic experience strongly preferred. OR Master’s (science/related) + 2+ years similar experience.
  • Proficient with business systems/sales platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva) and business intelligence tools; strong project management, analytical thinking, communication, and account management.
  • Reside in assigned territory; valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Compensation/Benefits
  • Annual base salary range: $123,100–$168,000; eligible for quarterly incentive and equity long-term incentive.
