Job description

Position Purpose

Under the direction of the Imaging Manager/Supervisor, this position is responsible for the automated scheduling of all imaging breast cases through direct contact with the radiologists, technologists, referring physicians and office staff, this includes marketing Renown Health breast imaging services to medical staff as appropriate.

Nature and Scope

This position schedules all diagnostic breast imaging cases for the breast imaging locations.  The biggest challenge for this position is meeting the desires of the physicians and patients.

This position has the authority to prioritize work and to make scheduling changes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

It is common to encounter potential hazards in the healthcare environment. Some of these hazards could include, but are not limited to: radiation, toxic chemicals, heat, noise, dust and stress. Renown Health has a Safety Management Program in place that addresses these issues.

Other related duties, flexible hours, and overtime may be required.
