Master Project Scheduler

Program Summary:

Job Summary:

The Master Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) supporting complex Department of Defense programs. This position works closely with program managers, engineering, operations, finance, and Government stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule development, resource planning, milestone tracking, and critical path management. The Master Project Scheduler provides schedule analysis, forecasting, risk identification, and performance reporting to support successful program execution.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex programs and projects.
  • Coordinate schedule development with program management, engineering, operations, subcontractors, and Government customers.
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and milestone tracking.
  • Monitor schedule performance and recommend corrective actions to maintain program objectives.
  • Prepare schedule status reports, executive briefings, and project performance metrics.
  • Support proposal development by creating and maintaining compliant program schedules.
  • Ensure scheduling activities comply with contractual requirements, project management standards, and organizational best practices.
  • Provide scheduling expertise and support across multiple projects while maintaining schedule integrity and program visibility.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines:
    • Engineering
    • Information Systems
    • Information Technology
    • Other related technical discipline
  • MS Project Management certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in project management, project scheduling, or security program management.
  • Expert-level proficiency with:
    • Microsoft Project (MS Project)
    • Microsoft Project Server
    • Microsoft Project Professional
  • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex technical or Department of Defense programs.
  • Proven ability to manage schedule development, resource planning, critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and project performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense acquisition or enterprise IT/security programs.
  • Experience integrating cost, schedule, and resource planning across multiple projects or task orders.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and program scheduling best practices.

Work Location: On-site support.

Compensation: $113,390.00 - $170,085.00. The salary range posted is for Washington, DC. The offered rate will be based on contract affordability, the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
