Job Summary:

Embrace the challenge of creating innovative solutions that optimize aircraft designs across various subsystems, all while managing project schedules, coordinating with organizational departments, and liaising with FAA and DERs.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the design engineering team.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules for engineering projects.
  • Coordinate project schedules across various departments.
  • Oversee program interfaces with the FAA and DERs.
  • Drive improvement initiatives across departments.
  • Enhance interdepartmental processes.
  • Recruit, train, and cultivate team members.
  • Report directly to the VP of Engineering.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 10+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD, EPDM, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of ANSI/ASME Y14.5 drafting standards and GD&T/FT&A.
