Job description

The Scrum Master/Project Manager plays a crucial role in leading the implementation of a Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC), including the deployment of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) systems. This position combines Agile methodologies with traditional project management to ensure the successful delivery of these critical operational centers. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and overseeing the integration of various security and network management tools. This Scrum Master/Project Manager role is critical for ensuring the successful implementation of the NOC and SOC, including the SIEM and SOAR systems. The position requires a unique blend of Agile leadership, project management expertise, and technical understanding of network operations and cybersecurity to deliver these complex operational centers effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives)
Remove impediments and foster a high-performing team environment
Develop and maintain the project plan, timeline, and budget for the NOC/SOC implementation
Manage project scope, resources, and risks
Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams (e.g., infrastructure, security tools, processes)
Track project progress and report to stakeholders regularly
Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of SIEM and SOAR solutions
Manage the configuration and customization process to meet organizational needs
Ensure proper integration with existing security and network management tools
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for the NOC and SOC
Oversee the physical and logical design of the operations centers
Coordinate the procurement and installation of necessary hardware and software
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Facilitate the development of operational processes and procedures for the NOC and SOC
Oversee the creation of incident response playbooks and escalation procedures
Ensure alignment of processes with industry best practices and organizational needs
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, IT teams, and security teams
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels
Oversee testing and validation of implemented systems and processes
Manage the transition from project implementation to operational status
Ensure that the NOC/SOC implementation adheres to relevant regulatory requirements
Oversee the development of policies and procedures for compliance and governance
Facilitate audits and assessments of the NOC/SOC operations Qualifications:

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
