The program typically covers subjects such as theology, biblical studies, pastoral care, ethics, and church history. Most MDiv programs require three years of full-time study and often include practical ministry experience or internships. Graduates commonly pursue ordained ministry, but the degree can also lead to careers in counseling, non-profit work, or academia.
