Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Jira to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove team impediments, and ensure successful delivery of software projects. The ideal candidate is an effective servant leader who can coach Agile teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and leverage Jira to drive sprint planning, tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Coach Scrum teams on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
  • Remove blockers and impediments to help teams achieve sprint goals.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Track sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics using Jira dashboards and reports.
  • Configure and manage Jira boards, workflows, filters, dashboards, and automation where applicable.
  • Ensure accurate sprint planning, story estimation, and backlog management within Jira.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize Agile processes.
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and communicate sprint status, risks, and project updates to leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Jira for Agile project management.
  • Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies for cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify and remove impediments while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
