Job description

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will perform the installation and retrofitting of premium efficiency lighting in a wide variety of commercial and industrial facilities. You will work with a variety of ladders and aerial lifts to perform the installations, and will be required to drive from location to location throughout the course of the workday and work week. This position requires strict adherence to company safety guidelines and practices, as well as maintaining a clean work site that minimally interferes with customers' business operations. The position is responsible for RI and Southeastern MA territory.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Journeyman's or Master Electrician's License
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • The ability to follow detailed work orders and provide accurate written documentation and progress reports is important
  • Ability to work efficiently, productively, and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on ladders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the installation of premium efficiency lighting upgrades
  • Familiarity with energy management systems, controls, variable frequency drives or high efficiency motors is helpful, but not essential.
