Job Description

Responsibilities include:

Act as a servant leader to the scrum team

Removing impediments for the scrum team to ensure maximum productivity

Effectively organizing and running scrum ceremonies including daily standup, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective, and backlog refinement

Coaching teams in Agile principles and practices

Becoming an active participant in Agile communities of practice by sharing Agile expertise and best practices

Tracking and articulating organizational impediments to program leaders

Building a solid working relationship with the product owner team

Identifying, managing and (when appropriate) escalating cross-team dependencies, challenges and issues

Tracking sprint and scrum team progress through burn-down charts, Kanban and other metrics

Facilitating retrospective sessions and introduce new and different retrospective techniques to keep team members engaged

Managing workflow and updates in Jira



Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or related field


3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master


Extensive knowledge of technology concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards


Experience with Agile at scale in large enterprise organizations


Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org certifications


Superior mentoring, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills


Experience with Jira and Agile Craft a plus


Experience with SAFe, certification a plus


Experience working with distributed teams a plus
