Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Master Scheduler to lead the development and execution of the master production schedule. This role is responsible for aligning customer demand with manufacturing capacity, materials, and labor while driving a structured planning process that connects forecasting with operational execution.
The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production flow, on-time delivery, and clear visibility into risks and constraints across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and communicate the master production schedule based on demand, capacity, and inventory
  • Analyze ERP data to drive planning decisions and improve schedule accuracy
  • Define production capacity, resource requirements, and throughput to support demand
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Procurement to align forecasts and execution plans
  • Identify and communicate risks related to materials, capacity, and production timelines
  • Develop planning models and scenario analyses to support business and financial decisions
  • Implement and support Lean planning tools, including Kanban and scheduling systems
  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as needed to meet objectives
  • Lead weekly planning meetings to review schedules, risks, and operational changes
  • Maintain structured and well-documented planning processes
  • Manage and develop members of the planning team
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
  • APICS CPIM certification or in progress (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working within ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Employment Type & Compensation
  • This is a Full-Time | Direct Hire position
  • Pay rate is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience

Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite
