Position Summary
The Supervisor - Performance Management serves as a key contributor to operational and financial performance initiatives across GLOVIS America. This role is responsible for analyzing company-wide performance metrics, developing business intelligence solutions, and providing data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional with experience in performance management, business intelligence, financial analysis, and data visualization. This position partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational growth through actionable analytics.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-8 years of direct experience in performance management, analytics, finance, operations, business intelligence, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience
  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, Python, R, or equivalent analytics and reporting tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

  • Analyze trends, identify root causes, assess risks, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations that communicate operational and financial performance.
  • Support company-wide performance management initiatives through data-driven insights and analysis.

Business Intelligence & Data Management
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Build, optimize, and manage SQL queries and backend data processes to support reliable data management.
  • Integrate data from multiple systems, APIs, and enterprise platforms to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Develop user-friendly reporting tools that improve accessibility and usability across the organization.

Advanced Analytics & Process Improvement
  • Conduct trend, variance, profitability, and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to support business planning and risk identification.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Research industry benchmarks, operational trends, and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement efforts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with developers, analysts, operational teams, and business leaders to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of dashboards, automation solutions, and analytical tools.
  • Develop training materials and provide guidance to increase adoption of reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Document KPI definitions, system architecture, data flows, and project requirements for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile planning sessions, testing cycles, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
