TheΒ Bill of Materials & Master DataΒ roleΒ is responsible forΒ auditing,Β validating, andΒ managing theΒ Product BoM and Master Data for assigned Products through the stages of the Product Development Cycle.Β Β The BoM and Master Data Analyst works closely with Responsible Engineers, Change Management, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to properly specify the Engineering BoM and Manufacturing BoM data for the Product.Β This activity is crucial to the process of obtaining andΒ maintainingΒ FAA Certification to produce, supply, andΒ operateΒ aircraft.Β 

The ProductΒ BoM and Master DataΒ AnalystΒ worksΒ cross-functionally withΒ Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Service andΒ CertificationΒ product data ownersΒ to ensure the completion and validity of the relevantΒ BoM and Master Data datasets for conformity and certification of the product.Β

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
  • ManageΒ definition andΒ evolution ofΒ productΒ engineeringΒ (eBoM), manufacturing (mBoM),Β service (sBoM), andΒ various derivative datasets.Β Β 
  • Drive Master DataΒ and Part Attribute completionΒ in accordance withΒ Product Development Program stage and requirements for relevant Program activities.Β 
  • ReviewΒ and approval of changesΒ toΒ theΒ productΒ bill of materials and related datasetsΒ via theΒ Beta Change Management processes.Β 
  • Review and validation ofΒ CADΒ Product StructureΒ and DrawingsΒ vs. Bill of Materials to ensure correct alignment between the datasets for consumption by downstream stakeholders.Β 
  • Audit and verify as-built and as-operated product records versus the released productΒ eBomΒ andΒ mBoMΒ definitions to support BoM Reconciliation for Conformity and Certification.Β 
  • Will author andΒ maintainΒ procedures related to BOM management, BOM release, BaselineΒ Management,Β andΒ reconciliation ofΒ eBoMΒ to as-built configuration.Β 
  • Will develop training and provideΒ detailed instructions toΒ assistΒ others withΒ Bill of Material and Master Data management.Β 

Minimum Qualifications:Β 

  • Deep knowledge ofΒ industrial Bill of Materials and Master Data best practices in a Product Development environment.Β 
  • Experience withΒ Production Lifecycle and Enterprise Resource Planning software (3DExperience, Teamcenter, Plex, SAP)Β 
  • 5+ years of experience inaerospaceor other regulated design and manufacturing industry.Β 
  • BS in a relevant engineering or quality discipline or equivalent education and experience.Β 
  • Proficient with 3D CAD Software (Catia preferred)for review and audit of product datasets.Β 
  • Strong skills in MS Excel for analyzing and comparing product structures.Β 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.Β 
  • High energy, self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.Β

  • Familiarity with 3D digital thread and/or model-based definition (MBD) environments.Β
