OVERVIEW

JBT Marel is a global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food and beverage industry. JBT designs, produces, and services products and systems for a broad range of end markets, generating roughly one-half of annual revenue from recurring parts, service, rebuilds, and leasing operations.

We are looking for a and driven Analyst, Master Data. This Analyst will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of primary data across systems. The focus will be on customer, service, product, and asset-related data. You will play a critical part in promoting efficient service operations, accurate reporting, inventory management, pricing, and customer satisfaction by maintaining highquality master data across enterprise systems. This position partners with parts, service, supply chain, IT, finance, and analytics teams to support datadriven decisionmaking and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Master Data Management

  • Create, and govern master data for parts, service products, assets, customers, vendors, and locations.
  • Ensure master data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms and reporting systems (JDE, SAP, Salesforce, Salesforce Service, Power BI).
  • Standardize data entry rules and documentation to ensure use of naming conventions, classifications, and attributes.
  • Monitor and resolve data quality issues, including duplicates, inconsistencies, and missing attributes.
  • Partner with teams (Service, Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, and Supply Chain) to ensure consistent and accurate data definitions and hierarchies.

Systems & Integration

  • Support master data integration between ERP, service management, inventory, and analytics platforms.
  • Help with system enhancements, upgrades, and data migrations affecting parts and service data.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to define data requirements and resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate with IT and partners to lead data governance programs and support system integration projects.

Analytics Enablement

  • Ensure master data supports accurate service KPIs, inventory metrics, financial reporting.
  • Monitor data quality and compliance by developing metrics, audits, and validation processes; resolve discrepancies or integrity issues.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Provide data extracts, validation, and insights to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities related to data quality and usage.

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership on master data performance, risks, and improvement areas.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to improve master data creation and maintenance.
  • Document procedures and best practices for master data management.
  • Support training and change management related to data governance and usage.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in master data management or our data analytics in the service industry (field service, maintenance).
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., SAP, JDE, Salesforce, Salesforce Service) and data tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL, etc.).

Skills:

  • You will focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • You will collaborate across departments.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data lifecycle, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

Great to have Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting field service or asset management data structures.
  • Understanding of service-related KPIs (e.g., OTD, quote turnaround time, response time, resolution rates, contract compliance).
  • Familiarity with MDM (Master Data Management) to control how you maintain, approve, and share master data.

You will work in an Office, remote and plant environment with frequent meetings across departments and multiple time zones.
