Job description

The Master Data Quality Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of master data in Shamrock’s ERP system.  This includes evaluating and standardizing master data across multiple domains and assisting in the creation of master data policies and procedures.

Essential Duties:

  • Gather, analyze, and cleanse product descriptions, vendor, customer, and location data.
  • Conduct data quality audits.
  • Train associates to adopt data quality procedures.
  • Enhance accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
  • Act as a liaison cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Support data projects and occasionally reach out to Suppliers.
  • Assist EDM with new item set up.
  • Conduct product research and gather knowledge of product categories.
  • Document findings and aid in creation of policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred or 4 years equivalent experience required.
  • 1+ years’ data quality experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel a plus.
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and flexibility. 
  • Strong people skills with ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload utilizing various computer platforms/software applications.
  • Ability to prioritize workload given various tasks with strict deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
