About Us

We are a growing multimedia company operating television and radio stations. We are seeking experienced Senior Broadcast Engineers to lead engineering operations in Houston and Dallas.

Position Summary

Each Senior Broadcast Engineer is responsible for the engineering operations, technical plant, broadcast facilities in the assigned market. The role ensures reliable 24/7 broadcast operations while partnering with the Head of Engineering on capital projects, compliance, and technology modernization.

Engineering Leadership
  • Lead day-to-day engineering operations for the assigned market.
  • Serve as the primary engineering liaison to station management and the Head of Engineering.
  • Maintain engineering documentation, PM schedules, and equipment inventories.
Broadcast Operations
  • Maintain studios, master control, production systems, routing, and monitoring.
  • Support WideOrbit Automation and Master Control.
  • Maintain AudioVault and Zetta radio automation systems.
  • Maintain TV and AM/FM transmitters, RF systems, microwave STL, antennas, generators, UPS, HVAC, EAS, captioning, and program delivery systems.
Projects & Compliance
  • Lead facility upgrades and equipment installations.
  • Assist with capital planning.
  • Ensure FCC, FAA, EAS, and OSHA compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of broadcast engineering experience.
  • Leadership experience supervising engineers or projects.
  • Strong knowledge of TV/radio broadcast operations, RF transmission, automation, and production systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with WideOrbit Automation and Master Control.
  • Knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic is a plus.
  • Experience with Zixi, AudioVault, and Zetta.
