We are seeking a top-notch, experienced Master Technician to work in our growing service department at Honda of Cleveland Heights! Applicant should have knowledge of different makes and models and comfortable with minor diagnostic. They must be goal focused, detail oriented and a self starter. The right applicant can expect to make between $35-$40 dollars per hour.

We are EXTREMLY busy at Honda of Cleveland Heights and are looking for a Master Technician who is seeking his/her forever home! If you have automotive technician experience and a desire to grow your career, we need to talk. We offer the right candidates an opportunity to develop their technician skills, to work in a positive environment with management support, paid training, and the facility currently expanding to add more service bays.

Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles and diagnose the problem(s).
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience by performing quality repair and maintenance work that meets dealership and manufacturer standards including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
  • Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.
  • Learn new technical information and techniques in training sessions to stay current with rapidly changing technology
  • Build and maintain knowledge of products and services via on-the-job training and completion of manufacturer training
  • Must be analytical with good problem-solving skills
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Service Technician Requirements:

  • Automotive service technician experience
  • Energetic with a positive attitude
  • Devotion to your work as a career
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Honda and/or ASE certifications, a plus
  • Automotive technical school graduate, a plus
