Job description

MONITOR, PART-TIME
Job Description
The Massapequa School District is currently looking for friendly, energetic and reliable candidates for Monitor positions in our schools. Monitors are responsible for student supervision in different capacities throughout our school buildings.  This can range from hallway supervision to cafeterias, playgrounds and even office spaces.
Work Schedule




*Part-time
*Monday - Friday for daily shifts of 3-4 hours. 
*No nights or weekends
*Follows the Massapequa Public Schools calendar - off on school holidays
 



Job Qualifications

*Ability to communicate clearly with students and other staff members
*Ability to stand for extended periods of time (eg, 45 minutes)
*Ability to pass a background screening by Civil Service. Fingerprinting will be necessary at employee's own expense.
