Job Summary
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing masonry projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in masonry construction, proven project leadership, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client expectations while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead masonry projects from planning through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget requirements are met
  • Prepare accurate project budgets using historical cost data and current market conditions
  • Conduct regular site visits to active and upcoming projects to confirm proper field execution and maintain full project visibility
  • Maintain working knowledge of local material pricing, labor rates, and equipment costs
  • Monitor and manage all labor resources, including internal crews and subcontractors
  • Track progress and verify completed work to ensure timely delivery of required project milestones and documentation
  • Develop and mentor team members to support professional growth and operational excellence
  • Serve as the primary on-site representative, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and project requirements
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the lifecycle of each project
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with a strong estimating background, including 2+ years as an Assistant Estimator
  • Experience with a commercial masonry subcontractor or general contractor preferred
  • Background in marketing, sales, or client relationship development is a plus
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while meeting or exceeding goals with minimal supervision
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to professional excellence
  • Ability to work from the office and/or job sites as required
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Willingness to sign a Confidentiality, Non-Disclosure, and Non-Solicitation Agreement (not a non-compete)
