All Star Paving & Sealing LLC, Connecticut's premier asphalt paving and maintenance contractor, is excited to announce a career opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Operator. As a leading full-service asphalt contractor, we take pride in providing top-notch services and building strong relationships within our communities. Our team handles everything from residential driveways and parking lots to major roadway projects, along with concrete work, milling, grading, excavation, masonry, drainage and asphalt maintenance.

Pay:

  • $25-$35/hr

Hours:

  • Seasonal position: April - December
  • Mon - Fri 6am - 4pm, some Saturdays

Duties:

  • Operate machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Set up machines before starting production, including calibration and configuration.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform basic repairs or adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output counts and downtime logs.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
  • Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and use of PPE.
