Description:WHO YOU ARE
Seeking experienced Electricians to support the AN/FSY-3, SPACE FENCE radar site and subsystems. The selected candidate will perform a variety of maintenance and technical support activities on products at the Space Fence radar site on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Job responsibilities include the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and modification on a wide variety of commercial and industrial electrical systems according to company standards utilizing an energy management system in addition to hands-on work.
Selected candidates will analyze and evaluate products and related performance, troubleshoot, and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimal time, while maintaining effective customer communications and relations.
The team on Kwajalein consists of a small cadre of experienced professionals that work as one cohesive team to accomplish all work at the site. Candidates should also be willing to perform other job-related duties as assigned, such as assisting in the arranging for services of outside vendors; understanding the required supplies and repair parts needed to maintain systems; working with logistics personnel to orders parts as needed, maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures, and working on other tasks as identified by the manager and/or team leads at site. This scope is not just limited to commercial/industrial electrical, but shall include HVAC, electronics, plumbing, and repair of other facility systems as needed. Responding to emergency maintenance requests 24/7 and conducting infrequent training and/or mentoring of personnel should be expected.
Applicants should be aware that there is limited medical care on the island. Applicant must be capable of working within a small group of highly motivated and trained professionals who provide facilities, radar, mechanical, electrical, IT and electronics support 24/7. The team environment is critical for mission support.
Most of these positions will be unaccompanied.

Basic Qualifications:
Willingness to expat on a multi-year assignment to Marshall Islands.
Knowledge of industry standards and practices in addition to comprehensive understanding of equipment and systems software.
Expert understanding of electrical preventive and demand maintenance techniques and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily or rarely encountered.
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training equivalent to a technical or associate degree with a demonstrated ability to perform assigned job functions.
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret DoD security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Journeyman status preferred.
Experience with preventative/corrective maintenance on military radar systems/subsystems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $71,600 - $126,155. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $82,300 - $137,195. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
