As the Account Marketing lead for Anti-infectives, you will develop and lead professional strategies across both hospital and outpatient customer channels, reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing (Brand Lead), Anti-Infectives. Responsibilities include developing and executing launch plans that address both account enablement and access challenges as well as traditional HCP promotion. You will lead a team of product managers and a matrix environment of cross-functional stakeholders. This role also has a strong market access focus requiring knowledge of how to bring products to market in complex operational environments.
This is a highly visible and strategically important role for GSK. We are looking for an inspiring commercial leader who can own the account marketing strategy across multiple channels while seamlessly interacting with Senior Stakeholders across the US, Global and external market.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following
  • Craft account enablement strategy and execution including hospital access and discharge channel
  • Own strategy and execution of professional marketing plans across both hospital and urology channels
  • Defining customer insights, journeys, and segmentation; product positioning; creative strategy, core messaging and content plans; integrated, cross channel promotional mix
  • Oversee training and capability building for account field teams
  • Set direction and ensure strategic alignment across functional stakeholder groups
  • Maintain detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace
  • Foster an environment of innovation, inclusion, challenge, trust and development

Why You?
Basic Qualifications:
  • BS/BA with 6-8 years of marketing or relevant commercial experience, including a minimum of 3 years in US biopharma marketing
  • Experience in Anti-Infectives and/or Hospital Specialty and/or Urology
  • Experience developing account management strategies across complex customer types, including specialty, retail, consumer, hospital, IDN, academic medical center, or large group practice environments
  • Ability to be in-office consistently 2-3 days per week (Philadelphia, PA or Durham, NC)
  • Ability to influence at all levels & build strong relationships in a matrix environment
  • Experience influencing without direct authority across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in developing & executing brand marketing plans
  • Ability to define, track, analyse key performance measures and make data-driven decisions
  • Financial acumen and P&L mindset
  • Strategy development, particularly in complex and novel environments
  • Ability to prioritize, pivot, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA with 8-10 years of marketing or relevant commercial experience, including a minimum of 4 years in US biopharma marketing
  • Product launch experience
  • Consulting and/or Business Development experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business & scientific acumen, learning agility
  • Experience in direct people management; and/or significant enterprise/matrix leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships in a matrix environment
  • Proven decision-making, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and oral/written communication skills
  • Experience working with global launch/marketing teams
  • Demonstrated broad commercial experience, including:
    • Brand lifecycle management
    • Product launch; Category creation
    • Customer insight, Messaging, campaign, creative development
    • Category / disease and product strategy development
    • Tactical plan development/execution, including integrated channel mix
  • Understanding of channels, pricing, and market access strategies
  • Drives market and brand opportunity analysis and develops actionable brand insights
  • Recognizes trade-offs and makes adjustments as needed; prioritizes short / long-term needs
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership for the shared success of the team and asset
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, competitive environment
  • Competitive mindset; feels driven to conquer uncharted territory
