Over the course of the program, associates gain hands-on experience in areas such as digital marketing, market research, brand management, and product marketing. This rotational structure helps associates develop a broad understanding of the marketing field, build a diverse skillset, and identify their preferred career path within the organization. Companies often use these programs to train and identify future marketing leaders. Rotational programs typically last from one to two years.

Overview

Join our team as an Event Marketing Associate to support community outreach and in-person marketing initiatives for nonprofit partners. This is a field-oriented role made for individuals who thrive on interpersonal interaction, enjoy public outreach, and want to build real-world skills in event marketing and communications.

Rather than working behind a desk, you will be present at scheduled activations, festivals, vendor fairs, and retail locations. You will practice delivering campaign messages, engaging varied audiences, and ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression of the organizations you represent.

Primary Duties
  • Assist in setting up and executing marketing activities at community events and promotional venues
  • Represent nonprofit partners with clarity, enthusiasm, and professionalism
  • Engage event attendees, answer questions, and invite participation
  • Clearly introduce campaigns, collect interest, and explain next steps to participants
  • Help assemble and maintain promotional displays, signage, and materials
  • Support event logistics including setup, staffing rotations, and breakdown
  • Attend pre-event briefings and contribute to team strategy during shifts
  • Document attendee feedback and common concerns for leadership review
Candidate Profile

We seek energetic, approachable individuals who enjoy meeting new people and can sustain high-quality interactions across long shifts. Successful candidates are dependable, positive, and team-oriented. They communicate well, accept coaching, and adapt to changing event environments.

Relevant experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or outreach is a plus but not required. We will provide training to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to represent our partners effectively.

Training & Growth

Comprehensive paid training will cover campaign content, customer engagement techniques, event safety, and presentation skills. As you develop, you may be invited to take on added responsibilities such as mentoring new team members or leading small event teams.

Compensation & Perks

Expected annual range: $39,000$59,000, with exact compensation determined during interviews.

  • Full-time employment
  • Paid onboarding and ongoing training
  • Weekly performance bonuses
  • Opportunities for professional and leadership development
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
Schedule
  • Monday through Friday, full-time
  • Some weekend work may be required for events
Workplace

This is an in-person, community-based role. If you enjoy being active, interacting with the public, and helping create meaningful campaign experiences, we welcome your application.
