This position will work with an experienced team of Personal Trainers, Front Desk staff, a Membership Rep as well as the Manager and Director. This role will be responsible for membership sales for the medical fitness facility which is a upbeat and healthy environment. This is a great opportunity for the individual whose looking to help the first Medical Fitness facility in Arizona! This location will bridge medical. fitness, and lifestyle medicine in a new 100,000 sq. ft. facility. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a Associate's degree in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in Sales and Marketing. At least one (1) year of sales experience in a medical fitness or health club setting is also required along with an outgoing personality, good communication an a zeal for health and fitness.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Membership Manager, the Membership Representative is responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and growing Medical Fitness Center memberships and participating in special events, promotions, and planning.
Essential Functions
  • Sells center memberships, through the development of new leads, center tours, phone and email inquiries, social media promotions, messaging, and commenting, community involvement, participation in civic and professional organizations, and prospecting of all lead sources. Initiates personal involvement in local civic, service, and professional organizations.Plans, develops, gets approval from leadership, and then implements, and attains or exceeds personal weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. Prepares corresponding weekly, monthly and annuals sales projections and reports for Membership Manager as assigned. Assists Membership Manager with marketing and promotional concepts. Assists with the development of promotional strategies to generate increase in memberships and member retention. Assist with the design and implementation of annual sales and marketing campaign. Assists in marketing of and participates in special events and programs developed by medical fitness managers and campus partners.Develops proficiency in the use of a computerized lead tracking system.
  • Contributes to the Medical Fitness Newsletter and other media and communications such as social media accounts. Contributions may include but not limited to writing assigned articles, reviewing new and relevant research, and developing ideas for topics, reviews, and advice.Attends meetings including but not limited to 1:1's, daily team huddles, monthly and quarterly team meetings, and others as requested/assigned. Participates in the "Manager on Duty" rotation as needed.
  • Maintains record of memberships sold in medical fitness software, ensures own payroll is entered correctly and in a timely manner.Responsible for continuing education in the latest research, methods & protocols in sales and marketing. Completes mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements. Maintains applicable certification/licensure.Responsible for maintaining all required certifications.
  • Ability to work variable and irregular hours and shifts on a regular basis.
  • Performs Other Responsibilities as assigned
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • Associate's Degree In sales, marketing, public relations or another related field. Degree may be substituted by 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience. - Required
Experience
  • 1+ years sales experience preferably in a medical fitness or health club setting. Previous health club operations experience helpful. - Required
