Job Description:
The Department of Marketing at Fairfield University's Dolan School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position, beginning in September 2027, pending final budget approval. Candidates must have a PhD or DBA in Marketing by the start of employment. In addition, candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching and a demonstrated ability to publish high-quality marketing research in peer reviewed journals. The appointment requires teaching classes at both undergraduate and graduate levels at Fairfield and/or Bridgeport campus. Teaching assignments may include teaching day, evening, face-to-face, hybrid, online, and/or Saturday classes, as needed. Strong applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of marketing courses and should show a commitment to innovation and demonstrated excellence in using technology in the classroom. Candidates with expertise in sales and sales management, B2B marketing, and pricing are especially encouraged to apply.
