Role Summary
We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for PC and discrete graphics software across consumer and workstations. This includes drivers, operating system integration, and software frameworks that enable performance, manageability, and differentiated user experiences across client platforms.
The ideal candidate combines technical depth with strong marketing acumen-able to translate complex platform capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for OEMs, consumers, and businesses, while also driving ISVs and developers who build on the ecosystem.
This role will shape how our software story comes to life across launches, campaigns, and industry events, working closely with product management, engineering, and ecosystem partners to define and execute go-to-market plans that elevate our platform leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop clear positioning, messaging, and launch narratives for PC and Consumer and Workstation discrete graphics software, drivers, and frameworks across Windows and Linux.
  • Define and manage launch claims and value propositions for new platform generations.
  • Partner with engineering and product management teams to translate technical features into customer-relevant benefits.
  • Provide software related inputs on future products and experiences to drive the AMD differentiated message
  • Lead go-to-market execution, ensuring consistent messaging across marketing, PR, and partner channels.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, ISVs, and ecosystem partners to integrate software capabilities into broader platform and industry narratives.
  • Support product launches through sales enablement, content creation, and competitive analysis.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor offerings to refine product positioning and influence future software strategy.
  • Represent product marketing in cross-functional reviews, providing input on software readiness, launch plans, and ecosystem alignment.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
  • Experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or product management in the PC, graphics, ISV, or semiconductor industry.
  • Strong understanding of PC software stack, including drivers, firmware, BIOS, OS interfaces, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling positioning and messaging for both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional launch teams and managing deliverables across engineering, marketing, and ecosystem partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technology.

Preferred:
  • Experience working with OEMs, ISVs, and developer ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with AI PC, graphics acceleration, and software frameworks for performance and user experience.
  • MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, or engineering.

Success Measures
  • Clear, differentiated positioning for each platform generation.
  • Successful launch execution with strong internal and external alignment.
