About the Role
This Paralegal role supports our legal department, focusing on contracts: managing the full lifecycle to ensure compliance and reduce risk. You'll draft, review, and organize a range of agreements - including vendor contracts, service agreements, and NDAs - while working closely with legal counsel, business units, and external parties to keep negotiations moving and contracts executed on time. Strong attention to detail and solid grounding in contract law and company policy are essential to keeping agreements accurate and enforceable.

This role is full-time, hybrid (WFH/Austin, TX). Compensation range: $65k-$80k.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts and related legal documents for accuracy and compliance with company policy and applicable law.
  • Support attorneys during contract negotiations by preparing summaries, tracking redlines, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain an organized contract management system, including filing, indexing, and tracking key dates such as renewals and expirations.
  • Conduct legal research on contract terms, regulatory requirements, and industry standards to inform drafting and risk assessment.
  • Coordinate across departments to gather information and approvals needed for contract execution and amendments.
  • Prepare reports and maintain records on contract status, obligations, and compliance issues for management review.
  • Support the legal team on ad hoc projects related to contract administration and compliance.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, business partners, and vendors to resolve issues and negotiate terms.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on contracts or corporate law.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and standard contract provisions.
  • Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited organization (e.g., NALA, NFPA) preferred.
