Job description

Land based Marine Technician position with minimal travel who will be responsible for but not limited to troubleshooting, completing repairs and services on marine hydraulic systems and associated equipment. The individual must be able to maintain a tidy workspace while completing projects. The ideal candidate should have a marine engineering background / strong mechanic background or have worked in the commercial / heavy equipment hydraulic industry. We do have the ability to train but the individual should have strong mechanical / technical experience.

-Understands vessel systems specifically hydraulic systems

-Complete vessel repairs and maintain knowledge of vessel systems and work status

-Utilize proper tooling and technical information

-Identify hydraulic components, fittings and equipment

-Complete troubleshooting tasks

-Able to complete tasks in tight spaces

-Comply with OEM and company procedures

-Actively pursue safe working procedures
