Certified Offshore Rigger

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Certified Offshore Riggers to join our offshore operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rigging, lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment and materials aboard offshore vessels and work sites while maintaining strict compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.




Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform rigging and lifting operations in offshore environments.
  • Inspect rigging equipment, slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting gear before use.
  • Assist crane operators and deck crews during lifting operations.
  • Ensure all lifts are conducted safely and in accordance with company and client procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with offshore safety standards and regulations.
  • Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, equipment defects, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and moving equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance records for rigging equipment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in challenging offshore conditions.

Required Qualifications Mandatory Certifications :

  • TWIC Card (In Hand)
  • Green ISN Light Status
  • T-HUET (Tropical Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) Certificate
  • First Aid / CPR Certification
  • Rigger Certification
  • Rig Pass Certification

Experience Requirements

  • Previous offshore rigging experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting practices, rigging calculations, and load handling procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret lift plans and safety documentation.
  • Experience working on offshore vessels, platforms, or marine construction projects preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work in demanding offshore and marine environments.
  • Capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and performing physically strenuous tasks.
  • Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screenings and offshore medical requirements.

Work Schedule

  • Must be willing to work offshore rotations of up to three (3) weeks at a time.
  • Must be willing to work 7 days per week while offshore.
  • Extended work hours may be required based on project demands and vessel schedules.
