Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair boats, pontoons, and personal watercraft
  • Set up and rig new and used marine units
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs)
  • Service, maintain, and repair outboard and inboard engines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, electrical, fuel, and rigging systems
  • Test marine engines and onboard systems to verify proper operation and performance
  • Install and troubleshoot marine electronics and accessories
  • Perform seasonal maintenance, winterization, and general service
  • Complete service records, repair orders, and required documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work with the service team to ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently
ย Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous marine, powersports, automotive, or diesel technician experience preferred, or equivalent technical training/degree
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Motivated, dependable, and hardworking
  • Positive attitude with a team-first mentality
  • Ability to learn new technology, diagnostic systems, and repair procedures
  • Comfortable using computers and electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy equipment and components
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and varying shop/outdoor conditions
  • Willingness to continually develop skills through manufacturer and technical trainin
