Job description

Bretz RV & Marine is looking for an Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to join us and help push us to the next level.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the accounting and financial reporting functions across multiple dealership locations while helping shape the future of a growing organization. You will work closely with leadership, influence key business decisions, develop accounting processes, and lead a team dedicated to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Own and lead the month-end close process across multiple dealership locations
• Prepare executive financial reporting packages and management reports
• Reconcile and review all balance sheet accounts monthly
• Facilitate fixed asset accounting and depreciation reporting
• Manage floorplan inventory payments, including interest, curtailments, and lender requirements
• Prepare lender reporting packages and maintain lending compliance
• Lead year-end financial statement preparation and annual reporting activities
• Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to leadership
• Support operational leaders with financial reporting and business analysis
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
• Standardize accounting processes and improve efficiencies across dealership locations
• Assist with inventory accounting accuracy and expense management initiatives
• Train dealership employees on accounting procedures and best practices
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer, lender, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Partner with leadership to support continued company growth and profitability

Requirements:

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build productive working relationships across departments
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership experience managing or mentoring team members preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Multi-location accounting experience preferred
• Dealership accounting experience is a plus but not required

Schedule:

Day shift only!

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

1 hour lunch

Overtime and weekends as needed

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3 years of progressive accounting experience or equivalent
• Experience preparing financial statements and managing month-end close processes
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience developing and implementing accounting controls
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• CPA License preferred but not required

Compensation:

• $80,000 to $95,000 annually DOE
• Salary plus annual bonus opportunity
