Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapeutic strategies tailored to meet each client’s unique needs.
  • Implement a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, engaging with clients through personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions, enabling clients to process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms that enhance their emotional resilience.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper record-keeping.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and staying updated with the latest trends and research in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship challenges. Your empathetic support and therapeutic interventions will be vital in helping clients navigate their emotional hurdles and achieve their personal wellness goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Active licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on mental health services.
  • Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
