Job description

Career Opportunit: Mailroom Production Associates

Location: Erlanger, KY 41018

Pay: $15/hr (W2) - you will get a raise when you convert to a permanent employee

Contract: 10-Month Contract-to-Hire (with strong potential for early permanent conversion)

  • 1st shift sitting manual production associate

Shifts

  • First Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Second Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Roles

  • Production Mail Sweeper: Support the insertion line to ensure continuous workflow.
  • Manual Mail Sorter: Perform high-accuracy sorting in a focused environment.
  • Machine Operator: Monitor and manage automated mailing equipment.
  • Material Handler: Manage inventory and stocking to keep production moving.

Key Responsibilities (Production Focus)

You are the backbone of our insertion process. Your primary goal is to ensure all mail is processed accurately and efficiently.

  • Quality Control: Review job tickets for correct configuration and inspect final products for proper folding, sealing, and address placement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all mail is sorted according to USPS and PSI requirements.
  • Production Excellence: Assist in meeting high-volume targets (up to 250,000 pages per job) and achieving quick equipment changeovers.
  • Communication: Partner with Machine Operators and notify supervisors or technicians immediately of any mechanical issues or quality concerns.
  • Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with SOP guidelines.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen (including marijuana).
