The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for Electrical Assembler, Testing. This position is responsible for the assembly and testing of complex fuel control units for gas turbine engines. This position is for 3rd shift (10:00pm - 6:30am).

Additionally, Electrical Assembler will:

  • Complete FCU testing utilizing the Testek benches.
  • Follow manufacturing planning for instructions and inspection requirements.
  • Load software to electrical control assemblies.
  • Complete and maintain accurate and reliable documentation. 
  • Verify dimensions and or performance using standard measuring instruments.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, shears, drills, and other items to be used in testing and assembly. 
  • Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+  years of experience with machinal and electrical testing
    • 1 year using precision tools, fixture and measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and assemble parts from manufacturing planning instructions
  • Ability to perform detailed work requiring fine motor skills
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds from floor to height of 25 inches, capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, have a grip strength of at least 50 pounds and be able to reach above shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.  Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
