Position Description:The position of Cultivation Technician will play a crucial role in the cultivation and maintenance of cannabis plants. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure plant maintenance tasks/ cleanings are done according to Ilera's SOPs. Perform daily tasks related to plant care, including watering, pruning, and transplanting cannabis plants. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Follows and adheres to all Safety procedures and protocolsMaintenance and pruning of plantsWorking with the Cultivation Manager and supervisors to ensure proper care of the plantsEnsures proper housekeeping and cleaning practices are handled daily according to SOPsAdheres to regulatory requirements of LDH daily (e.g., labeling, tagging and daily tracking charts, etc.)Adheres to all security protocols and mandates of LDHAble to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbsCapable of sitting, standing, bending, squatting and/or walking for long hours at a timeEnsure good communication between team membersPerform other duties as needed/or required Qualifications and Education Requirements:Exceptional attention to detailSelf-motivated to learn and improve.Strong mathematical skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide various units of measure.Able to work autonomously with little supervisionCan maintain a positive attitudeProficient in computer programs including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and e-mail.Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, constantly changing, team environment.Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.Ability to read, interpret, and apply information obtained from manuals, data sheets, or other documents.High School Diploma or GED is required.Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or Plant Sciences preferred (willing to accept 3+ years of verifiable work experience in horticulture in lieu of a degree)Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.Must be and remain compliant with all company regulations.Position Shift: (3 Openings) Tuesday - Saturday 8AM-4:30PMThis job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions.
