The Wesleyan has been providing personalized healthcare and services to seniors in the Georgetown community for over 60 years. We are currently looking for a PRN Receptionist to work every Friday and Saturday night from 11:30PM to 7:30AMwithin our Independent Living Community at The Wesleyan. Flexibility in scheduling, a heart for serving others, and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences will be essential to your success as a Receptionist at The Wesleyan.

***The schedule for this position is every Friday and Saturday from 11:30PM-7:30AM***
Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist with providing information about The Wesleyan to visitors and inquiries over the phone.
  • Answer phones, give information to callers, take messages and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
  • Respond to emergency calls from residents and notify the appropriate persons or agencies as needed.
  • Responsible for the mail meter, stamps, making copies and other office duty tasks.
  • Handle business center requests such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning for residents.
  • Coordinate package pick up and/or delivery to residents.
  • Assist residents with concierge requests such as restaurant reservations, MapQuest or Google Maps directions, internet research, etc.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service skills including written and verbal communications with others.
  • Prior receptionist experience, preferably within a senior living environment is helpful.
  • Organization skills and the ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently.
  • Must have a pleasant telephone manner.
  • Must have typing, word processing and other office machine experience.
  • Proficient in computers and computer programs such as word processing, spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook.
  • A service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.
  • A passion for working within a senior living community is a plus.
  • Alignment with and enthusiasm about The Wesleyan's culture and core values.
