Job description

As a Linehaul Driver, you will transport freight between Southeastern’s Service Center or designated points in-between.

Operate a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas and in all types of weather conditions. Receive and verify dispatch instructions and verify load against shipping documents. When hauling hazardous material, verify the hazardous material product description, determine any discrepancies in the paperwork, and verify proper placarding. Perform all duties in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism. 

For this role, we require: you to be at least 21 years old; 6 months driving experience; a High School Diploma or GED; the ability to satisfactorily pass background check and alcohol and drug test; a valid Driver's License; a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with Hazmat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement, and Doubles/Triples Endorsement; the ability to read, comprehend, and write in the English language and perform simple mathematical calculations; the mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, and maintenance log; the ability to meet DOT regulations and guidelines pertaining to the physical qualifications for commercial drivers; and satisfactorily pass alcohol and drug test. Pay: $0.866 Per Mile Job Type: Full-Time
