Job description

Essential Functions of the Job:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, including belts, chains, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, 480V/120V electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair
  • Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records of maintenance activities
  • Communicate effectively with production teams and maintenance leadership
  • Research and order parts as needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies (OSHA, USDA, GMP, HAACP)

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge (required)
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills: PLC experience preferred
  • Welding and stainless-steel fabrication (preferred)
  • Basic computer literacy (Windows OS, CMMS systems)
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • Must be available for overnight 3rd shift work
