Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Operations Global Process Owner (GPO) is responsible for designing, standardizing, and governing the end-to-end business processes for all global manufacturing operations. This role ensures consistency, efficiency, and compliance with the process framework while enabling seamless integration into the company's ERP transformation journey from MAPICS to SAP. The GPO will lead cross-functional collaboration, own the global process template, and drive continuous improvement across all regions.
Salary - $135,000 - $160,000
Job Function:
  • Define, document, and own the global standard for the assigned end-to-end process.
  • Align with regional and site-level teams to ensure consistent process execution and compliance.
  • Drive global process harmonization initiatives, while accommodating justified local/regulatory exceptions.
  • Act as the business lead for ERP design, testing, and rollout of process functionality (SAP).
  • Facilitate global process councils or communities of practice encourage cross-site collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor process performance using global KPIs and initiate continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead or support change management efforts including communication, stakeholder alignment, and user training.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits relating to the assigned process.
  • Partner with IT and transformation teams to ensure system alignment with process goals.
  • Benchmark and incorporate best practices from industry leaders and internal sites.
  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility over staff but provides functional leadership and direction to regional and site-level process owners.
  • Leads cross-functional working groups and process councils to drive global alignment.
  • Provides input into performance assessments for regional and site-level process leads during major initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field
    • Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or process management;, experience in the electronics industry is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience leading process design and implementation, ideally in a global context.
  • Strong experience in ERP systems, particularly SAP (experience with ERP transition - especially from MAPICS to SAP is a plus).
    • Experience with ERP implementation highly preferred
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and manufacturing cultures is preferred
  • Strong process mapping, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., ARIS, Signavio) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage complex global projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across different levels and cultures.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in a matrixed environment.
  • Comfortable with occasional global travel to manufacturing sites; must have a valid passport
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and navigate organizational change.
Preferences - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities that are not required but are preferred:
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
  • Experience with industry-standard process frameworks (e.g., SCOR, APQC).
  • Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable
  • Experience with digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives.
  • Previous involvement in large-scale ERP rollouts or business transformation programs.
