MAP enjoys exceptional financial health, mature financial controls, a highly capable finance team, and a culture deeply committed to stewardship and accountability. The next CFO will inherit an outstanding foundation and help position one of the world's leading Christian global health organizations for its next chapter of growth and impact.

  • Lead, coach, and develop an exceptional finance team while strengthening systems, processes, and professional development.
  • Collaborate across the organization to support sound decision-making, faithful stewardship, and long-term financial sustainability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.

  • International ministry, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or global nonprofit experience is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in strategic financial planning, forecasting, treasury, audit oversight, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and financial systems.

Executive Leadership Competencies
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ consistent with MAP's mission and Statement of Faith.
  • Executive presence coupled with humility.
  • High emotional intelligence and relational maturity.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinking balanced with operational awareness.
  • Strong judgment and discernment.
  • A collaborative leadership style that values partnership over hierarchy.
  • The ability to influence through relationships rather than authority.
  • A growth mindset balanced with faithful stewardship.
  • Calm, thoughtful leadership during organizational complexity and change.
  • A genuine passion for using financial stewardship to advance Kingdom impact.

Required Skills
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in strategic financial planning, forecasting, treasury, audit oversight, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management, and financial systems.
Preferred Skills
Beyond technical expertise, MAP is seeking an executive leader who demonstrates humility, emotional intelligence, sound judgment, collaboration, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will have a mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ consistent with MAP's mission and Statement of Faith and a genuine passion for using financial stewardship to advance Kingdom impact. This leader will value partnership over hierarchy, influence through trusted relationships, and balance a growth mindset with faithful stewardship.
Pay range and compensation package
MAP International is headquartered in Brunswick, Georgia. The position may be performed remotely or through relocation to the Brunswick area. Periodic travel for Board meetings, leadership retreats, and select ministry events will be expected.
