Job Title: Manufacturing Welder
Location: Mobile, AL 36605
Duration: 9 Months
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $35.00/hr on W-2
 
Shift Schedule:
  • Rotating shifts:
    • 2 weeks day shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
    • 2 weeks night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • Monday through Friday
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Welder performs weld preparation, welding, and finishing operations to manufacture products according to drawings and specifications.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Weld components in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
  • Clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, and grind component parts
  • Inspect work for defects and quality issues
  • Identify faulty equipment or materials and report issues
  • Operate hand and power tools related to welding
  • Apply Manufacturing System principles to support continuous improvement
