Summary

The Manufacturing Project Manager will be responsible for contributing information, recommendations, preparing and executing strategic action plans, enforcing policies and procedures and delivering finished projects in a timely manner. Candidate must have experience maintaining financial objectives for projects: forecasting; preparing and keeping track of budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions for this manufacturing / electronics repair facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

Data Analysis/Communications/Issue Resolution – Prevention - 80%

·         Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project  

·         Develop time, cost estimates and update project budget accordingly

·         Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

·         Create charts, schedules and manage risks/issues

·         Communicate effectively with customers and update in-house participants

·         Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.

·         Resolves and/or escalates issues timely and or communicates difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

·         Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.

·         Motivates team to work together efficiently

·         Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Efficiencies – Cost Reduction - 10%

  • Implements warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction programs to assist the company in making better merchandise flow decisions by conducting thorough analysis on key areas which are causing product and delivery issues.
  • Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.

Team Leadership - 10%

  • Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company’s culture.                   
  • Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.
  • Maintains and strengthens internal, external customer, and supplier relationships. Communicates and works well with all business partners.
  • Ensures inventory management and merchandise allocation flows product through the warehouse in the most cost efficient and productive manner.

Education and/or Experience

·         Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or related field.

·         Requires 3-5 years’ experience in project management.

·         Must have advanced time management and analytical skills.

·         Requires proficient Microsoft skills (Excel skills must include V-Lookups and Pivot Tables).

·         PMP Certification preferred.

Essential Skills:

·         Requires ability to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, and handle sensitive situations with tack/diplomacy.

·         Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

·         Must have strong verbal communication skills.

·         Must be able to write clearly and concisely, have excellent interpersonal skills and get along with a variety of personalities and individuals.

·         Requires excellent organizational skills, must understand and follow complex instructions and be able to learn new software applications.

·          Requires excellent analytical skills, be detail oriented, show determination to achieve excellent results, finds better ways, demand top performance and inspire commitment
