This role contributes to departmental objectives by helping to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Engineer I works under guidance to analyze production issues, support implementation of engineering solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position focuses on building foundational engineering knowledge while contributing to continuous improvement and operational success.**Primary Duties:*** Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.* Support the implementation of process changes, including equipment setup, workflow improvements, and standard work practices.* Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and basic improvement opportunities.* Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support problem-solving and process optimization efforts.* Assist with documentation of manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process changes.* Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve production issues and improve equipment performance.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste and increasing efficiency.* Follow established safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all engineering activities.* Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:* Assist in evaluating equipment and tooling to support production requirements.* Support testing and validation of new processes or equipment changes.* Participate in projects related to process improvement and operational efficiency.* Communicate updates and findings to supervisors and team members.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Job Requirements****Education and Experience Requirements:*** Requires a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline;* 0+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field,* Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
